More about us

Our pupils have the option to take a recognised exam in all genres. Beginners of all ages are welcome to all of our Brighton based dance classes.

All teachers are fully qualified trained dancers/teachers and are passionate about sharing their love of dance with our pupils. Your child can progress with us until they are 18. Many of our dancers have gone on to study dance and performing arts full time at dance colleges or dance degree courses at university.

We teach and hold exams in the I.S.T.D syllabi which are fully accredited by the Dance Education of Training UK. istd.org. UCAS points are awarded for these exams from Grade 6.

Our classes are enjoyable, social, stimulating and taught to a high standard in a modern and creative way. We believe that all ages can relate to our inclusive teaching style, whilst appreciating our traditional dance class methods.

Staff are First Aid trained and DBS checked. Teachers attend regular teaching courses to ensure all pupils receive excellent training and well balanced, interesting lessons. Principal, Lynda Forster also teaches full-time at Dance Art Studio.
